Designed for ISP, ASP, web hosting, data center and other infrastructure applications, the Thunder LE
provides industry-leading performance, stability and reliability. OEMs and System Integrators delivering rackmount solutions for the service provider and dot-com markets will appreciate the Thunder LE's powerful feature
set, as well as its space-efficient 1U design. With the introduction of the Thunder LE, Tyan has expanded its line of high-performance platforms for Internet infrastructure computing.
The Thunder LE utilizes the latest processor,
memory and bus technologies, to provide breakneck performance for web-centric applications. With support for dual Intel® Pentium III processors and 4 gigabytes of PC133 ECC memory, the Thunder LE is ideally
suited for the high-transaction processing environments of today's Internet data centers. In addition, the Thunder LE includes two 64-bit PCI expansion slots, further extending its capabilities by enabling the
installation of Gigabit Ethernet adapters, Fibre Channel storage controllers or other cutting-edge peripherals. These powerful features provide an exceptional platform for servers running Microsoft® Windows NT
or Windows 2000, Novell NetWare, Red Hat® Linux, SCO® Unix or other high-performance operating system.
