Tyan® unleashes the much anticipated Tachyon G9700 PRO Graphics Card - Tyan®'s ATI RADEON™ Based Graphics Card Enters the Gamer's Market With High-Performance and Confidence

Tyan® today launched the Tachyon G9700 PRO, the newest graphics card to utilize the ATI® RADEON™ 9700 PRO Visual Processing Unit (VPU).  AGP 8X compatible, the Tachyon G9700 PRO is a leading graphics accelerator designed with more powerful capabilities hardware monitoring, overclocking, and temperature control through special cooling.

The Tachyon G9700 PRO is the only RADEON 9700 based graphics card on the market with hardware monitoring.  The Tyan Graphics Monitor is a user-friendly system monitoring utility that allows the user to monitor in real-time the fan speed, voltage, and VPU and memory temperatures.

In addition, the Tachyon G9700 PRO can be overclocked nearly up to 400MHz making it the fastest graphics card today.  Fitted with an advanced cooling system, the graphics card can run cool and stable with memory speeds approaching the limits of today's DDR memory technology. 

The Tachyon G9700 PRO also includes the technologies ATI has developed: SMOOTHVISION™ 2.0, SMARTSHADER™ 2.0, HYPERZ™ III, and TRUFORM™ 2.0, and 128-bit color.  These features enable immersive cinematic quality games and realistic 3-D animation.

The Trinity i7205 S2662 supports Intel®'s Pentium™ 4 processor with HyperThreading technology and incredibly fast dual channel DDR memory bandwidth at 4.27GB per second.  Finally, the Thunder i7505 S2665 is powered by dual Intel Xeon with 512K L2 cache processors, features maximized dual channel DDR memory capabilities, integrated Gigabit Ethernet and optional Ultra320 LVD SCSI support.
