Among the motherboards on display are various dual
Intel® Xeon™ platforms, including the first blade server solution from Tyan as well as ATX form factor motherboards for space constrained environments. Tyan is also displaying Pentium® 4 based
processor-based platforms for value Servers, Workstations, and Desktops. The Server motherboards have exceptionally high bandwidth and storage capabilities with multiple Gigabit Ethernet LAN connections, Ultra 320
SCSI, and Serial ATA; while the Desktops and Workstations are powered by a host of integrated features such as 8X AGP, FireWire, and six-channel audio.
New Transport® line of barebones servers will be making
their debuts at the Intel Developer Forum, including space-efficient 1U servers ideal for all-in-one business servers, web hosting, and firewall gateways.
