TYAN TO OFFER GLIMPSE INTO FUTURE OF SERVER, WORKSTATION DESIGNS AT COMPUTEX 2005
Platforms and Systems to Showcase Tyan Products Based on Intel and AMD
TAIPEI, TAIWAN, May 31st, 2005 - TYAN®, a global leader in server and workstation platforms and solutions, Tyan®, is set to
exhibit the newest platforms and barebones systems to become available over the timeframe of a year, in what promises to be an exciting glimpse into the future of Intel and AMD solutions made by Tyan. The Computex 2005
event will take place in Taipei, Taiwan from May 31st - June 4th.
Products that will be displayed include everything from single to eight-way server and workstation boards that can deliver both power and
performance together with a stunning range of features to fit a full breadth of applications. Such products feature either Intel or AMD technology, both with 32 and/or 64-bit architectures and anti-virus features,
integrated with Intel, NVIDIA, or VIA core logic for entry, mid-range, and enterprise level market segments. In addition, these platform and system components offer PCI-X and PCI Express technology, onboard gigabit
network, Serial ATA and Serial ATA-II 3G with RAID, built-in video, and a complete set of power and remote management options.
Tyan's Transport full product line of pre-built server barebones systems will also be
on exhibit for customers to view. Tyan's Transport systems use either Intel or AMD 64-bit processing technology, together with a wide variety of core-logic brands. Many features are included in the Transport systems
including hot-swap SCSI or Serial ATA drive bays, slim drive bay options, active system monitoring and control, and a full set of accessories needed to build up IT infrastructures with an emphasis on convenience to the
customer.
