Today's launch by AMD
of their new AMD Opteron x85 line of server/workstation processors marks a continued gain in multi-core technology offerings by AMD into several markets and applications. With the launch these new exciting processor models, Tyan is re-affirming its commitment to enabling customers to becoming technology leaders by supporting the new AMD Opteron x85 models on current and upcoming Socket 940 server and workstation motherboards, as well as Tyan's stellar line of barebones server solutions products.
There are numerous advantages offered by the AMD Opteron processor which are leveraged by Tyan platforms to deliver incredible performance-per-watt features and the speed to meet customer application demands.
The prime feature set of AMD's Opteron processor family include technology such as AMD PowerNow!™, which provides maximized power savings for high-density populations of servers and workstations, significantly
