Xeon® Processors 5300 Series (CLOVERTOWN) AT IDF Tech Insights
INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM, SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 26, 2006 - Tyan Computer Corporation, a leader in high performance computing system design, today announced
a cooperative technology demonstration at the Intel Developer Forum Tech Insights address. This technology demonstration showcases Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® Processors 5300 Series (Clovertown) on a Tyan Personal
Supercomputer (TyanPSC), based on cluster design and technology. Tyan's innovative line of personal supercomputers provide new ways to use and access the computational power of supercomputing by offering turnkey
workstations that are easy to deploy, easy to use, and work in any lab, office or other constrained environments.
The IDF Tech Insights demonstration is a cooperative effort between Tyan and several leading HPC
technology companies: Intel Corporation, Mellanox Technologies Ltd., Wolfram Research Inc., and Microsoft Corporation. The hardware combination of Tyan's cluster system design technologies, Intel's processor
technologies and Mellanox's industry leading InfiniBand capabilities showcases the outstanding performance and efficiency personal supercomputing can achieve when running Microsoft Windows Compute Cluster Server 2003
and Wolfram's gridMathematica.

using Windows Compute Cluster Server 2003.

unlock the capabilities of Tyan's personal supercomputing potential.
