 Designed for cost-effective multimedia desktop PC systems, Tyan Tomcat i810e delivers substantially faster performance than on boards uing the  Intel 810 AGPset.  The Tomcat i810e includes integrated Intel 3D graphics, AC'97 audio, and UDMA/66 IDE controllers.  This product also includes on-board 10/100 Mbps LAN as a manufacturing option.  All of these features combine to make the ideal all-in-one desktop PC.

The Tomcat i810e supports SPD SDRAM  memory.  The board's PCI Local Bus and on-board Intel 3D Graphics accelerator provides graphics capabilities that are ideal for small form factor solutions.

This integrated system board achieves the highest reliability and is based on a double row micro-ATX form factor. Some of the features included are: on-board dual channel PCI IDE,  floppy controller, high speed I/O, Universal Serial Bus, PS/2 mouse connector, AC-97 sound, on-board 4 MB Display Cache, and digital video out (20-pin header for LCD monitor - optional).

Flexibility and expandibility have been designed into the Tomcat i810e. With I/O and drive controller support built on-board, the Tomcat i810e allows many upgrade paths not found on other micro-ATX boards. With two 168-pin DIMM sockets,  the Tomcat i810e can provide a very flexible memory configuration of up to 512 MB  SPD SDRAM or SDRAM+ECC in addition to the new 100 MHz SDRAMs.

**Note: This board conforms to the new PCI 2.2 spec. This requires 3.3v standby for all PCI slots, DIMM banks, and PS/2 outputs (KB/PS/2 Mouse). Always remember to unplug the AC power cord before adding any PCI cards, memory, or plugging or unplugging keyboard or mouse. Otherwise the motherboard may automatically power up when adding the component.
