Chipsets - General Information
A chipset consists of a group of integrated ciruits that is designed to perform one or more related functions; for instance, it may provide CPU functions for a computer, enable
fast expansion bus support, or advanced power management features. As an analogy, if CPU is the brain of a PC, it's heart would be the chipset which controls the data flow among the CPU, system memory, and the
motherboard bus.
