The Intel® Celeron is an SEPP (as well as PPGA-370) type processor designed for high-performance, sub-$1200 computer systems. Available CPU speeds include 466,
500, 533, 533A, 566, and 600 MHz. They are ideal for high-speed mainstream office applications and internet surfing.

- Intel P6 microarchitecture
- SEPP (Single edge processor package) form factor
- Currently available only in PPGA (Plastic pin grid array) form factor with 370 pin socket
- System bus supports multiple data transactions for more bandwidth
- Built-in Self Test - includes testing of data cache, instruction cache and ROMS
