- What Operating systems are supported?
Microsoft Windows 2000 (SP4), XP
(SP1 & SP2), Server 2003, SUSE Pro 9.x and SLES 9, REDHAT Enterprise Linux 3 Update 4
- Why does Windows recognizing the RAID array as individual disks during install?
First make sure that you press F6 during the install and load both the "NVIDIA RAID CLASS DRIVER" AND "NVIDIA NForce Storage Controller" Drivers from
the floppy disk. You can download the latest drivers here
- Are there Linux drivers available for S2895?
Yes, you can check http://www.nvidia.com
for the latest drivers or download the drivers from
ftp://ftp.tyan.com/drivers_linux/nVidia_chipset/
- Are RAID drivers available for Linux?
Not directly from nVidia or Tyan.
nVidia recommends using DMRAID. More information can be found at
http://people.redhat.com/~heinzm/sw/dmraid/
Note: DMRAID requires 2.6 kernel.
- I'm having problems installing SUSE 9.2, are there any known issues?
SUSE has released a patch CD to resolve installation issues with 9.2. here
- Are there any known problems with PXE booting and/or Microsoft RIS install?
