Thunderbolt  (S1837UANG)  FAQ - Updated 3-15-2000

1. Will the ARO-1130U2 RAID work on the S1837UANG Thunderbolt motherboard?
   
   Yes, the ARO-1130U2 RAID is supported on the S1837UANG Thunder BOLT motherboard if you have the RAID port built-in.
    
2. How do I boot to my Promise Technologies IDE RAID or ATA-66 controller device?
   
   You will need to change your the "PCI Device Search Order" to "Last to First"
    
3. Will my Thunderbolt board support Pentium® III Coppermine CPUs?
   
   Certain versions of the S1837 Thunderbolt board will only support 100 FSB Coppermine CPUs.  Because of the Intel 440GX chipset, the Thunderbolt will not support 133 FSB Coppermine CPUs. 
   
   In order to find out if your board supports a 100 FSB Coppermine CPU, please check the board's ECN Label (which looks like a small, white box-shaped  imprint on the motherboard surface near the BIOS chip).  If a letter "G" (or later) is imprinted on the ECN label, then the Thunderbolt will support a 100 FSB Coppermine CPU.
    
4. Will my 1837 work with my GeForce DDR video card?
   
   The GeForce DDR video card is not compatible with this motherboard.
