TYAN exhibiting at ClusterWorld Conference and Expo - June 24th to June 26th

Server Motherboards, Barebones Solutions, and Live Demonstrations at the Exclusive Conference for Clustered Systems - Booth # 225
Products: S2723

Fremont, CA, June 16th, 2003 - From June 24th to June 26th, Tyan® will exhibit at ClusterWorld, a conference and exposition dedicated to clustering technology. Tyan is participating for the first time at ClusterWorld as its involvement in the clustering industry continues to grow with more additions to the ATX server platform family and Transport barebones systems product lines.  In addition, there will be live demonstrations of Tyan's remote server management package using the System Management Daughter Card (SMDC).

One of the products to be displayed is the Thunder K8S (S2880), the first dual AMD Opteron™ server platform in the market that uses onboard SCSI and offers Serial ATA capability.  The Thunder K8S (S2880) is an excellent choice for pedestal and rackmount servers that need to utilize AMD's 64-bit technology.  It has many features on an E-ATX form factor - including dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports powered by a PCI-X bus, ATI® RAGE™ XL graphics controller, IPMI v1.5 remote management out-of-box package, and low-profile I/O ports to promote maximum airflow across the platform.

Also in an ATX form factor, the Tiger i7501 (S2723) is a compelling solution for a variety of server applications. The Tiger i7501 (S2723) features two Intel® Xeon™ processors, a 533MHZ system bus, two independent PCI/PCI-X channels, Fast Ethernet and optional Gigabit Ethernet ports, and ATX12V/EPS12V universal power compatibility. Ideal for 1U rackmount systems, the Tiger i7501 (S2723) is proven to be the ultimate solution for productivity, reliability, and cost efficiency.

A third product in the showcase is the Transport GS10, a 1U optimized server barebones system for the value market. Based on the Intel® 845E chipset, its ideal applications are web hosting, small business servers, print servers, load balancing servers, and firewall/VPN gateways.  The Transport GS10 provides superior computational power and networking performance for entry-level Internet server appliances. Combined with the support of dual Fast Ethernet networking interfaces with teaming and CPU off-load features, this platform also has integrated Serial ATA with RAID support.

ClusterWorld will be at the San Jose Convention Center, California.  The conference will take place from June 23rd to 26th, while the exposition will take place from June 24th to June 26th.  Free expo passes are obtainable at http://www.tyan.com/html/events.html
