An uniquely designed 4P/8P high-end server/workstation barebones that outputs 4 to 8 Dual-Core or Quad-Core AMD Opteron’s processing power and up to 128GB of DDR2 DIMM memory capacity. VX50 B4985-E features (3) GbE LANs, (5) expansion slots, and (8) hot-swap capable SATA2 HDD bays. The convertible 5U/tower chassis is supported by either 1140W (2+1) or 1620W (3+1) redundant power supply unit. It’s an universal rack-mount and pedestal solution that provides superb performance for greater server needs.
