Tyan® unveiling new motherboards, graphics cards, and server solutions at CeBIT
Tyan's Growing Product Lines to be Displayed at International IT Conference
CeBIT, Hannover, Germany, March 12, 2003 - Tyan® is showcasing some of its newest products for the first time at CeBIT, the world's largest IT conference. Among the products displayed are the much anticipated Transport server solutions, AMD Opteron™ platform, and Tachyon graphics cards. In addition to presenting new products at the annual conference, Tyan is also displaying its wide selection of already acclaimed workstation, desktop, and server platforms.
Live demonstrations of Tyan's first server management IPMI v1.5 solution, the Transport, and dual AMD Opteron™ platform will be available at the Tyan exhibit. At just approximately 14 inches deep, the Transport GX14 and GX15 are the most space-efficient 1U servers for dual Intel® Xeon™ processors. Utilizing the Tiger i7501 S2723, it has flexible LAN support, is lightweight, and front-mountable with no rails required. The Transport FX27 B4520 is a 4U server supporting four Intel® Xeon™ processors MP, 24GB Registered DDR200 memory, seven HotPlug PCI-X slots, dual LAN, IPMI, and redundant power.
The newest AMD platform showing at CeBIT includes the Thunder K8 S2880, the ideal Opteron™ solution for rackmount and pedestal servers. Based on AMD's latest chipset technology, its key features are dual channel 128-bit Registered DDR333/266 for speed and stability, IPMI v1.5 remote management for convenient control, and dual channel Ultra320 SCSI and optional Serial ATA for maximum storage.
Another server system board is the Tiger i7501 S2723 delivers exceptional features and performance for all server requirements. It supports two Intel® Xeon™ processors with 533MHz system bus with the Hyper-Threading Technology, Intel® E7501 chipset, remote management of IPMI functions, ATX12V and EPS12V compatibility, and Gigabit and Fast Ethernet ports.
The newest workstation platform is the Tiger i7505 S2668 supports two Intel® Xeon™ processors with Hyper Threading Technology, ATX12V/EPS12V power compatibility, AGP Pro 8x, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, and an ATX form factor (12" x 9.6"). The Tiger i7505 beats competition with performance at an affordable cost.
A couple of additions to the Tachyon graphics card are also making its debut at CeBIT - Tachyon G9200 PRO and Tachyon G9500 PRO. The Tachyon G9200 PRO is the first mainstream graphics solution to combine Microsoft® DirectX® 8.1 support with the AGP 8X standard. This is a value product designed for the entry-level user to the professional. Main features include 250MHz engine clock with 550MHz DDR memory clock, AGP 8X Pro compatibility, and 128MB of dual-channel 128-bit DDR memory. With a 275MHz engine clock and 540MHz DDR memory clock, the Tachyon G9500 PRO is a fast solution at a cost-efficient price. Other features include AGP 8X Pro compatibility, 128MB of high performance dual-channel 128-bit DDR memory, ATI's HYDRAVISION™ support for multiple monitor display, and OpenGL.
In addition to the above list, Tyan is also displaying established products such as the Tomcat i845GL S2098, Tiger GC-SL S2727, and Thunder K7X Pro S2469.
