Through comprehensive and thorough testing, AMD has certified the Thunder K8S Pro (S2882) for ideal performance and stability in server environments. The AMD Opteron™ 248 processor features 2.2GHz frequency, 1MB L2 cache, and 128-bit DDR400/333 memory support.
The Thunder K8S Pro (S2882) offers high-end server features such as excellent memory performance, IPMI compliant remote management support, and powerful broadband connectivity. Feature highlights include eight DDR DIMM slots to support up to 16GB of Registered ECC memory, multiple Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet LAN ports, onboard ATI® RAGE™ XL graphics, and four 64-bit PCI-X slots.
