TYAN co-exhibit with SKY Electronics L.L.C at Gitex 2007, unveil its latest lineup!

Taipei, Aug. 15th, 2007 – TYAN is set to dazzle visitors at Gitex, one of the largest exhibition in the Middle East, which is scheduled to take place this year from Sep. 8th to 12th in Dubai, UAE. TYAN will represent its new product category with SKY Electronics L.L.C, the major co-partner in the ME/GCC regions. They are prepping their Gitex presence, which will be strongly exemplified by the new products that will be showcased at its booth -- B9-5, in Sheikh Rashid Hall.
 
A wide range of single, dual, and quad sockets of both AMD and Intel platforms and server barebones are expected to be exhibited at its Gitex booth. TYAN will be showing enabling products for the latest cutting-edge quad AMD Opteron Socket F (1207) barebone server, the TN27 (B4987). The optimal 4-way socket in 2U barebone is specifically designed to support a vast number of memory-intensive database applications.  It’s extremely compact and provides premium features which comply with massive cluster computing usage while providing maximum performance output.  The TN27 (B4987) is an absolute turnkey solution.
 
TYAN is also innovating in the pricing lead server like B5372G14S2M-LC, which is set to make an appearance at the booth. The latest 1U barebone solution, B5372G14S2M-LC,  is packed with many excellent features and capabilities to handle various applications and objectives.  Utilizing the Tyan Tempest i5000VS (S5372-LC) platform, it supports two quad-core or dual-core processors (Intel Xeon processor 5100/5100LV/5300 (80W) series) and six FBDIMM slots, up to 24GB fully buffered DDR2-553/667 of memory capacity.  The Tank GT14 B5372-LC also features an optional PCI-E or PCI-X expansion slot, a Tyan LCM module and a Remote System Management IPMI 2.0 capabilities.  It also has an additional Tyan Taro card equipped on the SO-DIMM slot and SATA/SATA2 2.5” HDD with RAID 0/1 support. With this new product, end users will benefit from reliable performance and security at a very cost-effective budget.
