TYAN Releases S5539 Server Board Featuring Intel® Xeon® Processor D-1500 for Embedded and Storage Markets

Taipei, Taiwan – Dec 15, 2015 – TYAN, an industry-leading server platform design manufacturer and subsidiary of MITAC Computing Technology Corporation, releases the S5539 server board. This motherboard features the new Intel® Xeon® D-1500 processor, highlights a low-power SoC (System-on-Chip) architecture, and is designed to deliver the best performance per watt for embedded and storage applications.

TYAN’s S5539 server board supports Intel® Xeon® processor D-1500 series CPU up to 16 cores, 4 x DDR4 DIMM slots, up to 2x 10GbE and 2x GbE LOM, 2x standard PCI-E and the other 2x mezzanine slots for various networking and storage I/O options, and 6x SATA 6Gb/s ports in micro ATX (9.6" x 9.6") form factor.
