The Tiger i7501X Delivers Flexibility and Productivity
Fremont, CA, April 15, 2003 - Tyan® today introduced the Tiger i7501X S3022 , a server platform optimized for the 1U/2U rackmount with an abundance of features in a versatile ATX form factor (10.25" x 12"). Based on the Intel® E7501 chipset, the Tiger i7501X S3022 highlights universal power compatibility, dual channel Ultra320 SCSI and Zero Channel RAID (LSI Logic MegaRAID® SCSI 320-0 ZCR) support for maximum storage capacities, and powerful remote monitoring and management support.
Utilizing two Intel® Xeon™ processors with Hyper-Threading Technology, the Tiger i7501X S3022 calculates data with more speed and productivity. In addition to efficient data processing, the platform offers cost-saving features such as EPS12V and ATX12V power compatibility, and small form factor for versatile fitting in a variety of chassis sizes. The PCI slots are strategically placed in order to accommodate the 1U or 2U space, and the remote management support through Tyan's System Management Daughter Card allows monitoring and control from a more convenient location. The Tiger i7501X S3022 also offers a Gigabit Ethernet port, Fast Ethernet port, and onboard ATI® RAGE™ XL VGA.
"The Tiger i7501X S3022 server platform provides the flexibility to suit many specific needs," said Danny Hsu, Senior Director of Marketing at Tyan. "With choices in high storage capabilities, chassis sizes, and power supplies, the Tiger i7501X achieves the performance and quality users have come to expect from Tyan."
