Tiger MPX S2466N Platform Meets Strict AMD Qualification Standards
Fremont, CA, March 21, 2002 - Tyan® Computer Corporation today announced that their Tiger MPX is now "Recommended" by AMD Corporation. This rigorous qualification program provides Tyan customers with proof-of-performance when used with AMD Athlon MP processors, including the latest Athlon MP Processor 2000+.
Tyan, a leading designer and developer of Internet infrastructure products, is the industry leader in dual AMD platforms, offering three unique system boards, including the Tiger MPX, based on the AMD-760 MPX chipset. In addition, Tyan offers the Thunder K7 and Tiger MP system boards, both based on the AMD-760 MP chipset.

The Tiger MPX has been in mass production since January 2002, and is currently available worldwide through selected Tyan distributors and dealers.
